Tai Chi Gung: Simple Yoga For Everyone

No matter your mobility or your fitness level, anyone can do these exercises. Tai Chi Gung has three levels of activity: Chair Yoga, our Yin movements (the four main core exercises), and Yang, the more active movements of Tai Chi Gung.

LET'S START TODAY
  • Strength

Silhouette of a woman holding a wide, low warrior stance against a sunrise

In ancient China it was said, "Strong legs, strong heart, long life." Those who understand Chi know that true strength rises from the earth.

  • Vitality

Beyond nutrition, vital energy is all around us. Tai Chi Gung shows how to access the energy present in nature.

  • Stress Relief

A woman balancing on one leg with her palms raised overhead in a green forest

Breathing and moving with the life force gently clears blocks in the flow of chi. As chi begins to move freely again, stress disappears.

  • Balance

Tai Chi Gung strengthens grounding chi, deepening our connection to the earth. This improves balance that naturally remains.

  • Longevity

A strong connection to nature supports a long, healthy life. Tai Chi Gung shows how to reconnect with nature and stay aligned with it.

What is Tai Chi Gung?

Tai Chi Gung is a 3,300 year-old, simple yoga, much like a moving meditation. The practice brings the body, mind, and spirit into balance.

Through gentle, flowing movements and focused breathing, students learn to cultivate and harness the Chi, the body's natural life force supporting physical and emotional well-being.

The name itself reflects the practice: "Tai" meaning grand, "Chi" the vital life force, and "Gung" the sacred temple of the body.

Our Story

My name is Esmeralda Reynolds, a Tai Chi Gung teacher. I have been practicing for 6 years and teaching for 3 years. Tai Chi Gung has become a true passion for me, and sharing this good fortune with as many people as possible has become a mission. I am a wife and a mother of 3 beautiful girls. Over the past 6 years the practice has helped me with both physical and emotional strengthening. Bringing Tai Chi Gung into your life is a gift to yourself and your family.
