Where Tai Chi Gung Comes From

Tai Chi Gung combines movement, breath, mind, and energy — the Chi. As taught in the Circle of Chi tradition, the practice traces its roots through an Indian lineage associated with Boganathar, and it draws on all elements of Earth that later became Tai Chi Gung.

The heart of the practice is harmony of body, mind, and spirit. It suits all fitness levels, and regular practice helps improve focus, balance, coordination, relaxation, and sleep.

Circle of Chi is the affiliate in which Esmeralda has trained for 6 years and continues to study the practice with. Her classes are taught in Billerica, MA.

How Esmeralda Found the Practice

During the COVID shutdown, Esmeralda discovered Circle of Chi and began the practice herself. Six years later, it has reshaped her health, her focus, and her family life, and she now teaches live Tai Chi Gung classes in Billerica, MA.

Classes meet three times a week at First Congregational Church, 18 Andover Road, Billerica, MA 01821, plus outdoors on Friday mornings through the warm weather months, and your first class is free.
